The Centre for Spiritual Progress to Great Awakening (Hong Kong)

The Centre for Spiritual Progress to Great Awakening was founded and registered as a Buddhist charitable organization with the Hong Kong Government in May, 2009. Based on compassionate love, SPGA intends to serve the community to heighten the quality of lives. Ranging from the provision of spiritual education to the many walks of life to visitation of the elders in care home and to hospice service for the terminal-ill, SPGA lies its faith on Love with no boundaries, Walk by you at difficult times which explicitly exhibits the essence of true compassion, sympathetic joy and equanimity.

Ta Kioh Buddhist Temple (San Francisco)

Ta Kioh Buddhist Temple was founded in 1984 by Ms. Elizabeth Ip Mun and passed over to Po Lam Buddhist Association to manage in 2006. TKBT’s vision is to support the Triple Gem, to purify the human minds and to serve the community. It provides a serene place in the Bay area for hearing, learning and practicing the dharma. The Ta Kioh Chinese School also provides a venue for the young migrants to learn the Chinese culture and language. The diversified cultural and religious activities of TKBT brighten up and add more colors to the already religiously rich Bay area.
