Meditation
Meditation means mind development through concentration and mindfulness, thus understanding the true existence of the mind, body and all phenomena. There are different types of meditation, e.g.Zen meditation, Vipassana meditation, etc. The sustained application of self-observation and understanding through meditation will heighten self-awareness and purify our mind, cultivating true insight wisdom. This purified and equanimous mind will bring harmony and stability to the society, hence true peace and happiness to the world.
We offer the following Meditation Courses:
Mindfulness Meditation (1 Day);
Mindfulness Sharing Group Sitting (2.5 hours);
Mindfulness Meditation Camp (3 Days);
Vipassana Meditation - Adult (10 Days);
Vipassana Meditation - Adult (1 Day);
Vipassana Meditation Camp - Children & Teen (1 Day);
Daily Meditation: 8:00 - 9:00 am ; 6:00 - 7:00 pm

Dhamma Sharing
Our Nunnery presents Discourse in both English and Chinese languages.
At present, English Dhamma Sharing is held at the Chilliwack Nunnery every Tuesday at 5:50 - 8pm.
Religious Services
During the year, we organize the following activities:
Chat with Szefu
Watch out for this special event to meet Ven. Yin Kit or Ven. Yin Yeung in a relaxed and interactive environment to share life's joy and music, bitter and sad.
Discourse on Life
Watch out for this 2 hours evening session for a lively, inspiring and educational discourse.
Work Day
Help the nunnery with all kinds of work - in the kitchen, cleaning, gardening etc.
This activity usually takes place once a month on a Sunday.
